Elopement at the Lyman Estate

I recently blogged about Melissa and John's winter a-frame elopement in Bethlehem, NH back in 2022. The funny part about today's elopement is that it's about Melissa's sister, Carrie, and her winter elopement to her partner, Corey! We really kept it in the family in the winter of 2022 haha!

Carrie and Corey held their elopement at the Lyman Estate in Waltham, MA, which is a STUNNING historical building that you may have even seen featured in your favorite films, such as the 2019 Greta Gerwig adaptation of Little Women! It gives off regal, elegant, vintage, grand vibes, which complimented the intentionally intimate elopement Carrie and Corey wanted. A small wedding without sacrificing elegance and beauty, they focused on their people, a few details, and let the Lyman Estate set the scene for the rest.

The warmth from this day radiates through these photos, even though it was a chilly winter's day. Carrie and Corey didn't take themselves too seriously, which will also be evident as you look through these photos. I love when a couple's personalities shine through the photos, and they don't suppress who they are in front of the camera. It's where the magical moments that truly feel like YOU happen. It's like finding gold for a photographer.
